I was recently appointed Miller Associate Professor of Philosophy at Johns Hopkins University. I work on puzzles at the intersection of ethics and human emotion. Much of my work concerns the nature and ethics of emotional attachment, but I also have recent publications on forgiveness and moral responsibility.
