The Johns Hopkins William H. Miller III Philosophy Department warmly welcomes two new faculty members!  Lucy Allais’ research interests include the philosophy of Immanuel Kant, moral responsibility and emotions related to moral responsibility such as forgiveness and resentment, and bioethics. Ben Holguín specializes in epistemology and the philosophy of language, with special attention to issues at their intersection. His current projects concern knowledge, belief, assertion, lying, conditionals, and context-sensitivity.
