Announcing the launch of The Raven, a new magazine of philosophy edited by David Velleman and David Johnson, with support from our Department. Its mission is to publish original philosophy written for intellectually curious readers with or without academic training in the discipline, reviving an essayistic style of philosophy that was more common in academic venues as recently as thirty years ago but has gradually disappeared.
