I am a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the Philosophy Department. Prior to arriving at Hopkins, I earned my Ph.D. in the Philosophy and Religious Studies Departments at Yale University, writing a dissertation entitled "Receiving and Making Aristotle's Intellect: A New Assessment of Averroes and Aquinas." My primary research interests lie in Arabic-Islamic philosophy, medieval and ancient philosophy, metaphysics and philosophy of religion.
